proverbs 28.

so here’s another interesting fact about our grade. this fact, is directed to the boys of our grade. so the guys in our grade is separated into cliques, they’re generally friends with each other, but it’s still clique-y. i’m not trying to be mean, but if i had to label the cliques, it would sound a bit stereotypical… and somewhat offensive. so i’ll try my best to explain this problem in a neutral manner.

so the group of guys that me and my friends hang out with, i guess they’re considered the “jocks”, and if you hangout with them individually, they’re one of the coolest people in the world. and they are strong Christians, but when they hangout with their little group, they’re different than how they act when they’re alone, i guess it’s about being “cool” or “not cool.”

i always tell my girl friends this, if only one person, one single person from that group of guys, step up and change how he does things in a group. EVERYONE in that group will do it. but somehow this has never happened yet.

so to relate this to proverbs 28, this verse really stood out to me.

“When the wicked rise to power, people go into hiding; but when the wicked perish, the righteous thrive.” Proverbs 28:28

the group of friends, is not wicked. it just relates to this situation,  i’m not implying anything.

if only one person would realize how bad it is for him to change personalities everyone single one of them would do it. it’s just a matter of taking that first step, and willing to be the first person to do it.
