proverbs 16.

people who are stressed have grey hair. people who are stressed usually are the ones who work harder. i know some people who complain about having white hair, and i don’t usually say anything to them, because i think it’s just a natural procress, you know, a part of growing up.

“Gray hair is a crown of splendor; it is attained by a righteous life.” Proverbs 16:31

this verse makes having grey hair sound like a blessing, like you have some sort of wisdom. something like an owl.

i like what comes afterwards, “it is attained by a righteous life, ” maybe having great hair is really a blessing, and it’s only given to you when you live a righteous life…. i’ve never thought about it like that before. people nowadays focus a lot on physical appearances. the amount of grey hair we have is not considered a good thing. but when you say it’s a blessing and it’s only given to us when you’ve lived your life righteously, it sounds so much better.

maybe i should tell my mom that next time.
