who here has learnt how to pray since they were little kids. like by their parents?

well i did. and till now i say the EXACT same thing when i eat. yah. it’s boring.

well the thing is.. God’s teaching us how to pray. and no offense. but if i have to pray like that for at least once a day. i’ll get bored pretty quickly. i mean look at it. it’s worded with thees and thous. who wouldn’t be bored. ( <- thats like the KJV so.. yah i learnt the KJV version first.. so.. yah )

now. i get really tired when i start praying… imagine with some weird words… and something you memorized over and over and over again. and you had to recite it ever day..

WAIT. i don’t think God meant it like that.. we have to have some sort of content similar to what he said. not the exact words. i mean if i had to do that i would die. well… not really. but i would. :D

[and i need some help with you guys.. i get really tired while reading the bible and doing devos.. and praying.. so i need some help with that cuz i sometimes i really want to concentrate on God’s word and talk to him and all.. but i just doze off. and not realize it. esp. when i’m praying before i sleep. so if you have some good ideas to help me with that.. i’m glad to try some of them :) ]

hmm. i think the giving to the needy part really stands out to me. do you ever realize that when you do something… well for an instance giving to the needy you always do it infront of your friends. or some sort of long lost family relative? but when you’re walking on the street all by yourself you just dont give the poor person a second look?

yah. and this doesn’t just apply to giving to the poor. it could be even saying hello to the security guard downstairs. i don’t know. but yah. this happens to me too…

i don’t really get the fasting part. and the only this i actually know about the fasting part is…

I CAN’T WAIT TILL 30 HOUR FAMINE (:

you know how the bible tells us to store treasures in heaven? it doesn’t really tell you how to do it. and that kinda makes me mad. cuz the bible kinda leaves some important things out. and i want to know what it is.. and the thing is

IT’S NOT THERE. but it might not be important. because as Mrs Leger once said. if it’s not in the bible, then it’s probably not that important. yah. then maybe. it’s not important.
